Elite Racing Horse Racing Tips Two Bets in a race

Elite Racing Melbourne horse racing tips had three races with dual Elite-Combo bets on Saturday.

Some members don’t like betting on more than one horse in a race. We can understand this but the rationale that ‘one has to lose’ is a bit naïve.

Members have the choice to leave the race alone or maybe bet on the higher rated selection or the longer-priced or any other elimination criteria they land on using the spreadsheet provided to members to analyse.

Two suggestions.

  • Read the Don Scott books (Winning, Winning more etc.) where this famous pro explains in depth backing multiple horses in a race.
  • Study the Elite-Combo results – actually, we’ll do that for you.

Of the 1800+ Elite Combo bets (2021-2026) 556 were in two-bet races.

So, 278 Elite Combo races had two bets. About 1,300 races had just the single bet.
The 182 two-bet-race winners equate to 65% winning 2-bet races.

Two Bets Per Race Net profit 2021-2026 is $28,633 (>$400 net per month).

Betting Opt-In Levels

Members ask, what minimum AM odds do you suggest as the best cut-off point.

In the Intro-Pak and occasional newsletters, we list $2.30 as the most appropriate minimum AM (morning) odds.
That arbitrary AM-Odds cut-off point is simplistic, especially considering the wealth of extra information that came from the July 2026 Elite-Combo review. For example, there are lots of less than $2.30 bets that should not be discarded on price alone.

We are investing a lot of time with the aim of providing a more sophisticated cut-off than simply $2.30 AM odds.
This came about thanks to feedback from some very astute members as well as the further in-depth analysis of the revised bet-scale.

The post-revision Elite-Combo bet-scale is much more accurate. However, we have discovered that some of the lower range bets – especially less than 1.5% – can be identified as having varying degrees of vulnerability when previously under-utilised variables like the speed-map are against them.

Taking all this into account, we see an opportunity to provide some sort of a ‘vulnerability scale’ which can replace the arbitrary $2.30 min odds cut-off point with a flexible set of opt-in levels.

More to come…
