Huge Quaddie Value
The highlight from the weekend according to feedback was the huge quaddie in Adelaide and the nice one at Moonee Valley.

The Morphettville quaddie required finding winners in the top-5 at $26.00, $14.00 (On Top!), $12.10 and $12.00.
The Moonee Valley quaddie required finding winners in the top-5 at $7.00, $3.10 (On Top!), $6.00 (on Top) and $26.00.

It was a quiet end to January for Elite’s main strategies. Very low class racing ruled out potential bets in a lot of rated races.

Benchmark 70 Races
We have strong protection in place for the main plans, mostly to prevent bets in the very weak BM70 races that are very common in Melbourne between the spring carnival and Autumn carnival racing.
In previous years, these races have had us stumped with predictability levels very low for these slow, inconsistent horses. However, we seemed to have cracked the code.
Here are the January Benchmark 70 Top-Raters in Melbourne.
There are a lot of nice winners that we are rejecting.
Intrigued by this, we ran a what-if and changed (in the master data spreadsheet) the restriction for these twelve BM70 Top-Raters in January to BM78 to see what might have been.
TEN of the 12 would have qualified as Mel-Combo of which SIX won. The Mel-Combo extra profit would have been $2,895, on top of the $856 from the actual NINE qualifiers.
Considering the BM70 Top-Raters are winning at 52% for the entire season so far, we must assume that this will continue into the future.
We will be relaxing the BM70 restriction.
